“The charm of a half-timbered building blends seamlessly with a prime spot near Shakespeare's Schoolroom and Guildhall; I found the plentiful breakfast a real highlight. While the floors do have a certain creak, it's a small price for the historical character and the surprisingly welcome fridge with complementary drinks; the on-site Marco Pierre White restaurant is another definite advantage. A satisfying base for exploring Stratford-upon-Avon.”
